Citing new evidence, VA broadens Cerner/Mar-a-Lago investigation

The chairman of the House Veterans Affairs Committee has expanded the scope of his investigation into the potential influence of three members of President Donald Trump’s Florida country club regarding the VA’s contract with Cerner Corp.

Rep. Mark Takano, D-Calif., opened an investigation Feb. 8, requesting all records of communication between the “Mar-a-Lago three” and their companies with current or former officials at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
