Four U.S. presidents, numerous sports superstars tip their caps to Negro Leagues

Rachel Robinson, a civil rights activist and wife of Jackie Robinson, and baseball legend Hank Aaron are leading the charge to pay tribute to the men and women who played in the Negro Leagues from 1920 through 1960.

Right alongside them are four former U.S. presidents — Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter — and Bob Kendrick, president of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City.
