Gordon Lansford will move up his term as chairman of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce by a year, following the resignation of the man who was scheduled to take that post next month.
The chamber announced Thursday that Lansford, CEO of JE Dunn Construction Co., had agreed to take on the chairmanship effective Nov. 1. He was in line to become chairman in November 2019 as part of a four-year progression set forth by the chamber.
