Lee's Summit names new superintendent six months after previous leader resigned

The Lee’s Summit School District has found a replacement for Dennis Carpenter, who resigned as superintendent in July after two years on the job.

According to KCUR, the Lee’s Summit school board selected David Buck to oversee the area’s sixth-largest school district. He is currently the superintendent of the Wright City School District, which is located about 50 miles west of St. Louis.
