Lee’s Summit plant closing will cost 225 jobs

A semiconductor manufacturer’s facility in Lee’s Summit will close in November, erasing about 225 jobs and costing the area economy about $20 million a year.

The Lee’s Summit Journal reports that after Diodes Fab Tech Inc. closes its facility on Nov. 15, the jobs will move to other locations parent company Diodes Inc. owns, probably in Asia.
