Truman Medical Center’s tech and lab workers are pushing for unionization, which spurred about 75 workers and supporters to rally outside of Truman’s main campus on Hospital Hill Tuesday.
Their goal is to tackle issues such as pay, workplace safety and staffing.
Some of the employees allege that their efforts to unionize have sparked intimidation tactics from management and anti-union mandatory meetings, The Kansas City Star reports.
