Jackson County’s Board of Equalization is empowered — perhaps even compelled — to start over again with its 2019 property tax reassessment.
That’s the conclusion of two legal opinions, created on behalf of very different clients, KCUR reports. The opinions come from Legal Aid of Western Missouri, representing low-income people, and Polsinelli PC, which has one of the city’s prominent real estate practices.
